I've been collecting ancient coins since fall 2008. I mainly buy the coins in small lots which are uncleaned and covered in dirt. Many coins end up in my personal collection but others do not. I'm offering these lower grade coins here. I have grouped the low grade coins into two lots of varying grade. These are very inexpensive and they are perfect for education purposes, starting out a child in a neat hobby, or for beginning collectors.

Individual coins in better condition starting at $2 will also be listed in the future.

These coins were found in various places such as the Balkan countries and Spain. A note on sizes- These coins range from 12mm to 23mm. The average size is 15mm to 17mm. For comparison purposes a dime is 18mm and a nickel is 21mm.

Also my coin photography skills need work so the coins look better in person than through my photos!

Late Roman Coins, Low Grade

These are low grade coins dating from 325 CE to 400 CE. Average sizes are 15mm- 17mm. The majority of these coins are well worn and the portraits may be pitted. Still these are easily identified as ancient Roman coins. At only $1 per coin these are great for education purposes or for anyone who appreciates ancient coinage- $1 Per coin

Late Roman Coins, Low Grade

These are low grade coins dating from 325 CE to 400 CE. Average sizes are 15mm- 17mm. These coins are in slightly better condition than the coins above. At only $1.50 per coin these are great for education purposes or for anyone who appreciates ancient coinage- $1.50 Per coin
